A long romantic weekend

     Months back my wife and I agreed we would take a trip by ourselves, her and I, alone for a romantic getaway. She was eager to put a trip together for us, and keep it a surprise. In just a few days we leave for the White Mountains in New Hampshire, in search of snow? That is amusing actually, what you may not know, is we have 2.5 feet of snow right where we are...

Our home

and are now driving 4 hrs. north to go snowshoeing. Truthfully I am looking forward to this weekend. She has booked us for Friday and Saturday night at The Wentworth in Jackson, New Hampshire. Breakfast and dinners are included in our package, a hot tub to relax in, after a day of snowshoeing and photographing the White Mountains. I have downloaded two books to my phone, so I can read to my wife. it sounds perfect, and I look forward to continuing my post from Jackson.
